Twenty inmates of the Sagamu Prisons in Ogun State forced their way out of the prisons after successfully perforating the prison wall. The jailbreak occurred at about 3.00 a.m., some of the prison officials and inmates were injured. According to some reports there was heavy gunfire inside during the prison break.
